Crouch

Trust not the mouldy men
Sewer crawlers to the last
Fetid foam floats past boots
The rushing steaming stream
Presents your ocular organ
With sights no eye should see
Feel the weakness in your knees
Quivering at first before
Morphing into spasms wild
The glottal gurgle will have
Its say until your nerves shut
Down the way….

(Did you remember to tell at least one person where you were going today? And for how long?)
(Soon you'll wish that you had.…)

Haiku #393

Ghostly horizon
Spirit ships sail waves of air
Salt bathes all frail hearts

Haiku #392

Reincarnation
Lost in assumptions of grey
Living life backwards

Seek your peace beneath shadows
Strive for a kind mind

Haiku #390

Which switch brought the witch?
Scrying eyes see paradise
Down falls cleansing rain

Haiku #389

A deaf ignition
Seven leaves in seven days
The future drips dry

Haiku #388

Paid, laid, flayed, X-rayed
Encounter with the weird kind
An auto-da-fé

Haiku #387

Skin stroked like lotion
Cold enamel chills the soul
Ever dismantled

Haiku #386

Cast your iron hot
Or fling it far with your fears
And dark heart desires
